Testimonials

“John did an exceptional job getting me caught up and helping me understanding concepts that were not made clear in discussion or lecture. John explained things and worked through problems with me in ways that made sense to me. We created methods for me to evaluate my work in real time so that I could check myself as I went through the problems on my own. I went from a test average of C to a B, ultimately receiving an A- in the course, which I never could have achieved on my own.”

KateOrganic Chemistry

“Throughout my life, I had always studied chemistry by rote. Instead of understanding the concept behind a topic, I would merely learn how to solve the problem and leave it at that. However, after I started tutoring with Mihir, I realized that my way was not going to cut it in the long term. Mihir made me think about the "why" of chemistry more than the "how" and really solidified my conceptual understanding of topics. He left me with skills that I consider essential to my learning process and helped me think more critically. ”

“What's special about Michael's teaching method is he doesn't just teach you how to solve one single problem––he enables you to conceptualize the idea behind what you are learning and then apply it to various problems. Michael's confidence in me to do well along with his exceptional teaching ability has taken me from a student who believed learning chemistry was hopeless to a student who has discovered a new love for this subject.”

NicoleChemistry

“I went from a 59% on the test before I started tutoring to 100% on the very next test and an 80% on the final exam, lifting me from failing to passing the class.”

“Nikki was such a great chemistry tutor! She really helped me understand concepts for my college introductory course. She made amazing study guides that were excellent at mapping out what I needed to know for each test. I’m so glad that I worked with Nikki because I know that I learned the material not only well enough to succeed in this class, but to thrive in future classes because of the strong foundation I have in this subject.”

“Jesse was easily the best tutor I've ever had: he is an incredible teacher, with wealth of background knowledge in every class I've taken. Jesse knows how to make work dynamic and exciting, helping me to understand material when I was completely lost. With his guidance and encouragement, I achieved a top grade on all my assessments. I had a great time working with Jesse as well and could not speak more highly of Jesse or Cambridge Coaching.”

EmmaMathematics

“Jessica was so organized and prepared. She was great at explaining complicated concepts and meeting me at my level. When I did not understand my coursework, she broke it down to a very basic, easy place to understand it from. She is so bright and a terrific teacher! ”

“Brendon is a really incredible tutor –– he has an amazing way of making you understand the material while letting you get to the root of the problems yourself. ”

“I was panicking on a Friday night trying to write a paper due Monday, and Cambridge Coaching came to my rescue, matching me with the perfect tutor. I ended up working with my tutor for the rest of the course, and my grade lifted from a B to an A. My tutor brought out my best thinking in the writing of several academic papers. ”

“Yiping did a better job of explaining the material than my professors, and now, I finally felt like I get it. Yiping was also very supportive and encouraging, which made a big difference. ”
