We are a group of exceptional medical school students and PhD candidates in the basic sciences. As a prerequisite, all of our tutors currently attend or have graduated from the top MD, MD/PhD, and PhD programs. Meet everyone
Graham V.
Graham holds an MD (Vanderbilt University Medical School) and MBA (Harvard Business School). He earned his BS from MIT in Materials Science & Engineering. Currently, he is an Emergency Medicine Resident at Vanderbilt Medical Center.
Joyce
Joyce is currently an MD candidate at Harvard Medical School. She also graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa with a BA in Anthropology from Harvard, where her thesis won the Thomas T. Hoopes Prize.
Elliot
Elliot earned his BS in Biology at MIT, and his MSc by Research in Clinical Medicine on a Rhodes Scholarshop at Oxford University. Currently, he is an MD/PhD student in the the Harvard-MIT Health Sciences and Technology program.

Abraham attended Brandeis University, graduating summa cum laude with highest honors in 2018 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, Neuroscience, and Chemical Biology, along with a minor in Legal Studies, and his Master of Science in Biology. Grant holds a BS in Biology and an MPH in Behavioral Science and Health Education from Emory. After teaching high school science in DC, he's now pursuing his MD at Harvard Medical School.

Emmanuel is pursuing his MD at UC San Francisco. Previously, he earned his BS in Biomedical Engineering at UC Davis and worked at a Fortune 50 company developing medical devices.

Cristian majored in Human Biology and Society, and minored in Global Health at UCLA. He taught Chemistry at Crenshaw High via Teach for America, receiving his teaching credential from Loyola Marymount University. He is currently an Anthropology MD-PhD student at UCLA.

David is a med student at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, where works in a lab studying cancer metabolism. He earned his Bachelor's degree in Biology at James Madison Unversity.

Cassandra attended UVA on a four-year, full cost of attendance scholarship with a double major in Human Biology and Spanish. After graduating in May 2020, she went straight into the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, with dreams of becoming an adult or pediatric oncologist.

Isaac L.
Isaac graduated in 2020 with a BS in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell. As a student, he spent much of his time investigating diabetes treatments and bariatric surgery. He is an MD Candidate (2026) at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons .

Hugh graduated summa cum laude from Northeastern University, where he studied Biochemistry. During his time at NEU, he led RAISE, a chemistry and engineering student research group dedicated to tackling planetary health issues. He's now an MD Candidate at Harvard Medical School.

Samantha attended Stanford University, where she explored the role of synaptic proteins in visual system development for her honors thesis research. She graduated with a BS in Biology conferred with honors and with distinction. Haley went to Bryn Mawr College, double majoring in Mathematics and Chemistry and completing an AB/MA degree in Chemistry. She was recognized as a 2018 Barry Goldwater Scholar for her efforts in and out of the laboratory. Her dual passions for biophysical and chemical pathogens research led her to the Harvard-MIT MD/PhD program, where she is currently a NIH-funded MSTP student in the Health Sciences and Technology track.

Samantha graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University with a BS in Human Biology, Health & Society and a minor in Education. After obtaining her Master in Medical Education at the University of Nottingham as a Fulbright Scholar, she is now an MD Candidate at NYU.

Diane is a MD/MS candidate at Columbia University, where she has recently published a first author manuscript in cardiothoracic surgery research. Nic found graduated from Princeton University in 2018 with a degree in Molecular Biology and Creative Writing, cum laude. Then, Nic completed a research year at Princeton Neuroscience Institute prior to starting at Harvard Medical School, where they are currently an MD candidate. They have received Harvard’s Presidential Public Service Scholarship and the REACH Scholarship.

Kanan attended Yale University, where she earned a BS Intensive Degree in Molecular/Cellular Biology. Kanan completed medical school in three years through acceptance into NYU’s highly selective accelerated-MD program. She is now a resident physician with the NYU Langone Hospital System.
Tarika
Tarika graduated with dual degrees in Philosophy and Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. She then spent a year as a research fellow at the Mayo Clinic Biomedical Ethics Research Program in Rochester, Minnesota before moving to Boston to pursue her MD at Harvard Medical School.
Layla
Layla is an MD Candidate at Harvard Medical School. Previously, she graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BA in Writing Seminars and a minor in Islamic Studies. Her post-grad fellowship conducting ovarian cancer research at the National Center for Advancing Translational Science culminated in her choice to pursue a career in medicine.

Finding medical research inescapable, he is getting a combined MD/PhD degree at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania, desiring to pursue orthopedics surgery with research in targeted drug delivery.

First time package
4.5 HoursWe require a first-time minimum commitment of three 90 minute sessions due to the significant amount of preparation that tutors do in advance of the first few sessions.
