Tarika
Tarika graduated with dual degrees in Philosophy and Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. She then spent a year as a research fellow at the Mayo Clinic Biomedical Ethics Research Program in Rochester, Minnesota before moving to Boston to pursue her MD at Harvard Medical School.

Currently, she is being funded by the National Science Foundation to research conditions in which the gut microbiome may behave in a way that is adaptive to the host. Nikita earned her BA in Biomedical Engineering at Tufts (summa cum laude, Tau Beta Pi) and her MD at Boston University. She is now a senior resident at the Boston Combined Residency Program in Pediatrics.

Viemma attended Rutgers University-New Brunswick where she received two Bachelor’s degrees: one in Public Health and one in Biological Sciences, summa cum laude. After completing her MD at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, she is now a General Surgery resident at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
