Adrian grew up in Santa Barbara, where he frequently returns to visit the warm beaches of Southern California. Passionate about science and math, Adrian attended Caltech where he earned a BS in Physics in 2022. He now attends Harvard as a PhD student in Quantum Science and Engineering. His research focuses on the intersection of quantum chemistry and quantum computing, and he enjoys thinking about how physics concepts can be used to explain real-world phenomena.
Adrian has been teaching a wide variety of topics and students for over seven years, focusing on physics and math classes at the high school and college levels. His teaching experience includes one-on-one tutoring in both volunteer and professional capacities, as well as TA positions where he has given lectures, written questions for exams, graded assignments, and held office hours. He specializes in teaching college-level physics, including topics such as quantum mechanics, statistical mechanics, quantum computing, electricity and magnetism, wave physics, atomic physics, special and general relativity, condensed matter physics, particle physics, quantum optics, and biophysics. He is also experienced in teaching calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, complex analysis, and group theory.
In his spare time, Adrian enjoys rock climbing with other students, as well as competing with them in trivia quizzes and board games. He also loves reading and is always on the lookout for interesting new books.
