Emilio holds an M1 and M2 in Lettres Classiques, an M1 in Classical Philology, and a BA in French. Latin, and Greek Literature from the Université de la Sorbonne.

Giuseppe

Giuseppe received both his MA and PhD in Classical Archaeology from the University of Texas at Austin (2016 and 2019) and his BA in Classics from Columbia University (2009). He won the Jean Willard Tatlock Prize in Latin Proficiency and the Douglas Gardner Caverly Prize in Classics for best undergraduate thesis, as well as several awards and honors during his graduate education.

James F.

James holds a PhD in History from the University of St Andrews, an MPhil in History from the University of Cambridge, and an MPhil in Classics from Trinity College. He is the co-founder of the Institute for the Study of International Expositions.

Sarah Ha.

Sarah graduated from Brown University and the Rhode Island School of Design with a dual degree in Comparative Literature and Painting. After earning her MFA in Painting at Yale, she went on to teach first grade at Saint Ann’s School in Brooklyn.

Maryam

Maryam graduated summa cum laude with a BA in History and a Minor in Arabic from Princeton. After her Master’s in Early Modern European History at Oxford, she went on to pursue her PhD in in History and Middle Eastern Studies at Harvard.

Frances

Frances holds a PhD from Harvard in the History of Art and Architecture and a BA in Art History from Bard College. Her research focused on imperial and late Roman memorial art and the “afterlives” of these types of objects.

Catarina

Cata earned a degree Organismic & Evolutionary Biology with a secondary in the History of Art & Architecture at Harvard College. She also holds an MA in Environmental Management from Duke University and currently works as an environmental consultant in Boston.

Alice H.

Alice holds a BA in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania and an MA in Communication Design from Northumbria University (Fulbright Scholar). She will next attend the Harvard Graduate School of Design, where she will obtain her Master's in Design Studies.

Natalie P.

At 15, Brandon’s parents sent him to Peru for a year to live with extended family, improve his Spanish, and connect to the place where his mother grew up. The experience was life-changing and set him on a course of personal and intellectual discovery that continues to this day. Brandon attended the University of Texas at Austin where he earned a BA in Latin American Studies and Women and Gender Studies, graduating summa cum laude and receiving the departmental prize for best undergraduate thesis. Brandon continued at UT – Austin and earned his MA in Latin American Studies. He received the departmental prize for best MA thesis, which was an institutional ethnography of Mexican civil society groups working to prevent labor exploitation. After taking a year off to work in the Washington DC policy world, Brandon attended Georgetown University Law Center. He was a Human Rights Fellow, an Equal Justice America Fellow, and in addition to his JD, earned his certificate in Transnational Legal Studies. Brandon began his PhD in Cultural Anthropology at Princeton University in 2015. His dissertation research explored the lives of unionized workers in Mexico’s tourism economy and was supported by numerous grants and fellowships including the National Science Foundation, Fulbright-Garcia Robles, and the University of California San Diego’s Center for US-Mexican Studies. Brandon is currently based in Washington, DC and teaches at Georgetown University.

Brandon possesses over a decade of teaching experience and has worked with students at all age levels and in a variety of different capacities from subject matter tutoring, test preparation, writing tutoring and editorial assistance, and admissions coaching for undergraduate and graduate programs. Brandon is passionate about helping students achieve their academic and intellectual goals.

In his free time, Brandon enjoys running, bouldering, salsa dancing, and trying out new recipes with his partner.
