Humberto is currently an Associate Professor of Pathology at the University of South Florida and Section Head of Thoracic Pathology at Moffitt Cancer Center. He holds and MD from the Universidad Central de Venezuela (summa cum laude).
Arielle S.
Arielle majored in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at Yale. She received the Class of 1971 Summer Science Research Fellowship, Dean’s Research Fellowship in the Sciences (twice), and Mellon Senior Research Grant for her research in the transfusion biology and immunology. She is now an MD candidate at the Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis.
Nathan M.
Nathan graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a BS and MS in Molecular and Cellular Biology and minors in Bioethics and Music. Selected for a 2023 Marshall Scholarship, he will be studying for a DPhil in Paediatrics at Oxford through 2026 (researching tuberculosis diagnostics), after which he will attend Harvard Medical School to pursue his MD.
Gift
Gift graduated with a 4.0/4.0 GPA from the University of Texas at Austin, where she majored in Honors Biology and obtained a certificate in creative writing. Toting a Dean’s Distinction in research and multiple recognitions in academics, Gift is now an MD candidate at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.
Victor CM
Victor attended the University of Arizona, where he majored in Microbiology and minored in Biochemistry. He enjoyed research so much that he decided to pursue a PhD in Chemical Biology at Harvard University; he currently works in Andrew Kruse’s lab located at Harvard Medical School (HMS).
Brian Do.
Brian is a PhD student at Columbia University studying Chemical Engineering. Previously, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, Statistics, and Chemistry, with a minor in Accounting at the University of California San Diego.
Alex W.
Alex graduated from UCLA with a degree in Molecular, Cell & Developmental Biology. She's currently a National Health Service Corps Scholar at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine (HSDM).
Anne Claire
Anne Claire is a Clinical Psychology PhD candidate in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. Her research focuses on how to use technology to improve youth mental health.
Tarika
Tarika graduated with dual degrees in Philosophy and Biochemistry from The University of Texas at Austin. She then spent a year as a research fellow at the Mayo Clinic Biomedical Ethics Research Program in Rochester, Minnesota before moving to Boston to pursue her MD at Harvard Medical School.
John T.
John studied Biology and Environmental Health at the University of Southern California. He holds his MD from the Duke University School of Medicine. He is currently a resident in Internal Medicine at Duke University Hospital with plans to pursue a fellowship in cardiology.
