Isa designed an independent major at Williams College titled “Critical Health Studies,” combining philosophy, sociology, and anthropology with the goal of complementing her science-oriented pre-medical education with a humanist and critical exploration of health and medicine. Wony holds a PhD in Applied Analysis at Carnegie Mellon University, specializing in the field of dynamical systems and partial differential equations. His thesis is about nonconvex optimization techniques using underlying geometric structures.
