Jessie studied biochemistry and psychology at Tufts University, earning a 4.0 GPA (Phi Beta Kappa) and several awards for her leadership in the Chemistry Department. She is currently in her fourth year at Harvard Medical School and is pursuing a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery.

Alex graduated summa cum laude from Duke University. She then took a year off to pursue research and clinical work before enrolling at New York University Grossman School of Medicine. Alex is applying to residency programs in otolaryngology (ENT) and will soon be able to live out her dream of being a surgeon.

She received the Class of 1971 Summer Science Research Fellowship, Dean’s Research Fellowship in the Sciences (twice), and Mellon Senior Research Grant for her research in the transfusion biology and immunology.
