Richard studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Auckland, and subsequently received his PhD in Materials Science from MIT. He currently works as a technology investor at a venture capital firm.
Ian is a PhD Candidate in Physics at Harvard University. While pursuing his undergraduate degrees in Physics and Mathematics at James Madison University, he was awarded Most Outstanding Researcher in the Physics Department.
Eugenia is a PhD Candidate in Comparative Literature at the University of Pennsylvania. She previously earned degrees at the University of Chicago (MA in Humanities) and Yale University (BA in English and Philosophy).
Tara is a PhD Candidate in Biology at MIT. She holds a BS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Brown University, and has experience working in life sciences consulting.
Brian holds a BA in Mathematics from Boston University, and an MS and PhD in Mathematics from Northeastern University. He's now a mathematician with a focus on the algebraic geometry and topology of complex analytic spaces.
Linda has 36 years of classroom experience. She taught English at Cambridge Rindge and Latin School; started a small school, the Social Justice Academy, in Boston; taught Composition and Research to college students in Missouri (Stephens) and Massachusetts (Bentley); and helped lead the John D. O’Bryant School of Mathematics and Science to its number 5 state-wide ranking.
Max holds a PhD in Computer Science from UC Berkeley, prior to which he received his AB in Mathematics from Princeton University. He has done research across multiple areas of machine learning and statistics, notably natural language processing, fine tuning for neural networks, probabilistic modeling, and statistical theory.
Fiona is an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and PhD candidate in Mathematics at Cornell. She holds a BA in Mathematics (cum laude) from Harvard and an MS in Mathematics from Cornell.
Emily holds a BA in Chemistry from Wesleyan University. She has taught chemistry and physics at several independent schools, including The Hill School, Loomis Chaffee, and, most recently, The Field School in Washington, DC.
