Carol Tambasco
Student Support Coordinator

At Cambridge Coaching, Carol is the Student Support Coordinator. A jack of many trades, she helps the team with operations, systems management, and Student Support. She is also a beloved tutor on our roster.

Carol graduated from Yale University with a BS in Computer Science and Mathematics with distinction. Her passion for education started when she was 12 and created a project to teach math to underprivileged children in Brazil, where she was born and raised. This interest was solidified during her high school years, when she designed a calculus curriculum for high school students, taught the course at her school, and developed a website to share her content. During college, she spent three years as an undergraduate learning assistant for Yale's introductory calculus course, spent a summer as an instructor for the Yale Young Global Scholars program, and volunteered at local pre-Ks and middle schools. Recently, she worked as a math instructor for Art of Problem Solving as well as the lead coding teacher at Avenues: The World School.

In addition to teaching, Carol loves spending warm days in the water, making pasta from scratch for her family, and taking her toddler son to playgrounds or local library story times.
