Experienced with every step of the medical admission process, Gabe loves to work with medical school applicants to help them reach their goals. At Cambridge Coaching, he leads the MD Admissions team, working closely with our admin team and experienced MD Strategy and Writing coaches.
 
Gabe graduated from Princeton University with a BA in Molecular Biology and earned his MD at NYU Langone School of Medicine. He took an extra year during medical school to conduct HIV/AIDS research in Durban, South Africa as an NIH 2011-2012 Fogarty International Clinical Research Scholar. Subsequently, he completed an Internal Medicine Residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center and an Infectious Disease Fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Infectious Diseases & Immunology at NYU and serves as the Chief Medical Informatics Officer (CMIO) for Population Health for NYC Health + Hospitals.
 
In his free time, Gabe enjoys playing tennis, running with his Rhodesian Ridgeback and listening to jazz. He agrees with John Coltrane: "Invest yourself in everything you do. There's fun in being serious."
